I'm Back

Hi Gang,

I'm back after taking some time off to get my new company going.

The Series III I bought from the guy in Texas arrived during the
Thanksgiving holiday. It turns out to be a GT. The entire car is
disassembled which is fine with me because I was originally going to use
it for the body only. However, I discovered that the engine number and
body number match, so I have decided to keep everything in tact. I have
enough parts lying around the garage to compensate for any parts that
are missing. My first job will be to finish the disassembly of the car.
The body is straight with a few rust spots and a few dents, but overall
in very restorable condition. The hardtop has a little rust on the
inside of the left rear pillar. The windows need replacing and the
headliner is missing.

My dad towed the car back to Georgia for me. He was in Oklahoma visiting
family and has a brother in Texas who held the car for me until my dad
could retrieve it. While in Ok, my dad purchased a tow dolly (since we
use them so often) and drove down to Texas. He also took the wheels from
my running Series III to use on the GT since they were balanced and
new. However, somewhere between Ok City and Houston, the wheels that he
had strapped to the dolly freed themselves. Bottom line is that I lost
three of my wheels. He got the GT home on Pinto rims and bald tires.
Question - Does anyone have a set of solid rims for sale?

Scott - I will get the #'s for you in the next day or two.

Good to be back,
