tj> I have no specific info about the Harrington. The special racing

information

list

I dont think Holbay came into the picture till after the series Alpines
were done for. Holbay did later support the 3 main engines, but
probably only through the similarity "Particularly the head" with
the 5 main engine.
According to Chris McGoverns book, it would seem that Harrington
offered custom engine upgrades to the customers requirements.
It looks as though Harrington had thier own tuner in house,
who would perhaps install the cam of choice, and perform carb tweeks
to make it all work out.
Most likely the actual engine configuration would be to what is
described in the Series II Competition handbook.
Parts wise, the engine components that would be different from that
of a non Harrington car would be Cam and some carburettor components,
and in the case of later Harrington cars, perhaps a Hartwell DCOE
manifold
and carbs.
The head, intake and exhaust will have been port matched too.
If the engine is in running condition, then it will be unlikely that any
of the
special "Harrington" components will need to be replaced, just
reconditioned.
