I think that Kurt may be on to something. I have heard this referred to as "lateral thinking" or "out of the box thinking". Here we all are talking about a Alpine club, when maybe we already have one. I know that this kind of club does not allow face to face meetings for a discussion over a beer, but seems to me that we cannot have that with this group anyway (at least not for everyone). Those of us here in So Cal evidently have enough numbers to make this happen, but the contributors to this group are worldwide.
So to follow on with Kurts thinking, let me suggest that we consider:
1. The formation of conventional clubs might work out well for some of this list's members.
2. For others there may be some real benefit if we add the next dimension to this group. Any ideas as to what is missing ?
Your thoughts ?
