Heavy flywheel

My panelsmith (Racing an Alfa Giulia saloon) said my flywheel is too heavy. It may be from a Hillman, maybe even from a Husky (as the radiator was).

Engine has no torque when leaving the lights, but after about 2500 rpm it has kick which feels as about 80-90 bhp. Of course, the Strombergs may be out of tune.

Was there heavier flywheels in saloons and vans?
