Hi Guys,

There was a little mistake in the tacho repair story which you probably noticed allready 100 rpm should have been ofcourse 1000.

Anyway onto another matter: I'm currently rebuilding a second girling 5 inch servo unit and when I took that apart I noticed that the 14 cm long spring had been rusted through at three places and as it doesn't come with the servo repair kit I'm desparately looking for one. Does anyone of you have such a spring in one of your old parts boxes perhaps and willing to sell ?

Another query is, the servo which I'm currently using on the Alpine seems to have a side effect as now the brakes seem to bind after braking, or at least are not released directly. I checked the brake pads front/rear but they are ok, all renewed as well as the internals of that brake servo.

Thanks Bert
