Yes I've had once a similar thing too with an old clutch hose on my Sunbeam
Stiletto the collar was rusting pushing the rubber inward until the hose
blocked.
I'll check it out.

(With v.v. I mean vice versa)
The surface of the rotors look good and evenly smooth, I've sanded them after
machining (apart from some rust pittings)
The material looks the same too and they are straight too.
No unusual wear on the pad surfaces and no uneven wear as pad thickness is
concerned.
All the brake tests were done with dry weather.
The rear brake return springs are there and working ok, still pulling strong.

Yes good point maybe debri of old seals/rubber.
Yes I would say that too if the car goes straight without braking it should
be staticly OK maybe it could be a weak spring or damper ?
(The anti roll bar and rubbers seems ok to me too)

I don't have much time at the moment to work on the car (got a accident damage
legal bussiness to sort out on my Sunbeam Stiletto)
but if I find the cause I'll let you know!
