It is quite apparant that the Journal is oval. The crankshaft must come out.
Can the oval be built back up or do I have all the journals ground down to
match?
Can the crankshaft physically be brought out through the bottom?
I have a some people who think I can do the job without pulling the engine
and the others insist the engine should be removed.
The split is even.
I personally think I can get it out the bottom if I know for a fact that
there is room.
I have had the transmission completely off, including OD, with the engine
in place.
A problem seems to be the motormount and the bolts that hold it on. I am
not sure how these are related to the crankshaft.
While the crankshaft is out what else should I do to it or the engine?
