Rob -

It might be easier to install a set of gears in line with the speedo cable to
get it accurate. Otherwise you'll just be guessing, especially if you run
tires that are lower profile (virtually any radial) than original.

A fellow down in Oregon (Peter Parslow) did this with his Series V OD and is
very happy with it.
