Dave, I acquired a NOS upper rad hose for my S1 from Doug Jennings
yesterday. However, I just realized that my old hose (a very flexable,
universal hose) may have worked better from the standpoint of vibration
isolation of engine induced roll movement (torque) pulling on the brass,
radiator inlet pipe. The NOS hose seems stiffer than the older one and
it might fatigue the thin brass radiator body that is soldered to the
water inlet pipe over a short time of use. Any comments?

With regards to the later series water pump, Doug had mentioned the same
thing. He has one in stock, and I compared them both to find the shaft
lengths different (like you mentioned the need for the later pulley).
Yes, it seems I need to upgrade to the later water pump and be
conpatable with the later series...

Everyone, I have scanned some pictures from the "Sports Car Graphic",
Sept '62 magazine (and some pictures of Tom Patten and his GT2, Tiger
race car) and I expect to get those up at the SSR Designs web page by
Thurs night.....Jan
