What did you decide to do about the gas in the oil situation? I like the idea of draining it and running it for a while and changing oil again. I do this every 10000, miles or so. I change the oil at 500 miles after an oil change and the stuff runs really clean for a long time. Actually when you think about it, the oil is coming in contact with the combustion chamber all the time. So I'd say we were all getting a little gas in the oil all the time. That's the reason it needs changed. I never knew it to hurt to change more often than required.
