Be carefull with the pump putting out 3 psi. The stock pump puts out between 1 and 1.5 psi, and the sizing of the needle and seat, plus the fuel float level setting are very sensitive to increase in fuel pressure. I'd say 3 psi is too high, having nearly set a fire when my stombergs overflowed onto my exh manifold. After that happened, I went back to the mechanical pump, and all was well.

BTW, purilator sells a $15 regulator that adjusts from .5 to 4.0 psi in .5 psi incriments. Not the best regulator available, but is works well enough.
