The doors come off after removing the door straps, then 8? large 1/4 28f
philips
head screws from the hinges.
As for limited slip diffs, rootes never made any for the alpine, but
Doane Spencer produced a kit for roade racing alpines using the Dana 26 or
27
differential. The kit was supposed to replace only the spider case and
axles
and used the stock rootes case.
Dont hold your breath finding any, they were very rare, I have never seen
one,
but suspect one could be fabricated to a very motivated authentically minded
racer.
