The OEM tiger springs are a higher spring rate, but are more or less the same

length. The after market tiger springs "330 #/in" are a tad shorter than
stock
but will yield a higher ride hieght on the lighter front alpine.

My advice would be to get a set of stock alpine springs and cut 3/4 of an
inch off them. This will give you just over a 1 inch drop, and will only
increase your spring rate by 10% or so.

Another possibility would be to remove the rubber donut from the top
of the stock springs. You'll get your inch, the rate will not change, but
the road noise will pickup somewhat.
