You're right. The 1725 is a good engine for this car. I'm by no means an
originality fanatic but I intend to keep the 1725. It's been running for 30
years and I see no reason to bother a kid that's playing good. I do intend
to change to electronics for ignition and things like that. Besides it's
always cheaper to rebuild what's in there already.

Just because you put a Ford motor in there, you still can't be sure it won't
leak oil someplace. (It's the old saying, when in Rome, do as the Romans
do.)
