1. Get a club and use it on the steering wheel
2. I have an electric fuel pump mounted in the rear of the car so I have a
special switch complete with green and red leds that I mounted in the
console and is wired to the fuel pump. It came from radio shack and has a
barrel key. the red light is always on and when you turn on the key with the
barrel lock switch turned on the green light comes on...letting you know
there is power to the fuel pump.
3. An electrical system disconnect (on top of the battery) would also be a
great way to disable the car.
4. A motorcycle disc brake lock can be used on the emergency brake handle
further thwarting the thiefs effort.

Hope this helps....I have driven and parked my car all over the country and
nobody has botherered it....I think if any serious thief has looked at it
the homemade alarm (fuel pump switch) scared him away because he didn't know
what it was or how to disarm it.
