clutch slave return spring

On my clutch slave cylinder there was a return spring attached to a
small arm. Years of use meant that the spring and arm have worn where
they contacted each other. One day the spring will go POOF! at an
inopportune time. SS doesn't list a replacement, and consulting the
Parts Manual shows this spring as used for Series I cars only. Does this
mean I have a Series I slave cylinder? SS says to use a Series II
replacement and kit. Anyone have a good replacement for these two parts?
