The Alpine chat address is Alpines(at)autox.team.net. To join, you need to
send an e-mail to majordomo(at)autox.team.net, and in the body of the e-mail
message type: "join alpines". There is also "join alpines-digest" This is
the same exact messages, just lumped into one file and sent once a day.
For me here at work, it helps keep down the incoming messages. Otherwise,
the individual messages are better because they are easier to reply to.
There are other groups as well under the autox.team, including Tigers, MGs,
TR's, Lotus, Minis, British cars in general, autocross, and many more. The
only ones I know by memor are "tigers" and "british-cars."
Maybe the best thing to do is get it running and enjoy it for a while. I
understand that the prime market for cars is when they are 30 years old and
people in their late 30's and 40's now have money to buy the car they
remember from their teenage years. After that, demand is supposed to drop
pretty fast. Doesn't bode well for us owners of 30 year old cars.

Thanks Jay, what is the Alpine chat address? Since I have an Alpine I
would
rather be getting that mail for parts and other contacts.
