brake drum refinishing, rear hub removal

With a set of used bolt on hubs from SS and the minilite replicas from VB, I
now have the components to convert from splinned to bolt on hubs. As long as
I have everything apart, I'd like to bead blast and paint the hubs and brake
drums. Any recommendation on drum paint? Original color? I'm thinking of
your basic high heat engine paint, semigloss black.

One more question re: rear hub removal. The archives mention using a drilled
out splinned hub knock off to make a hub puller. A nut is placed on the
inside of the knock off and a sharpened bolt through the knock off and nut
from the outside. Won't this inside nut spin as the bolt is threaded in
against the axle?
Am I missing something here?
Thanks.
