I have done the air pressure trick on dented gas tanks before and has worked
quite well. Note it won't take out the whole dent if there is a crease in the
metal but pops it out enough. If you are to weld rivots or solder pennies to
the tank use EXTREME CAUTION!! Even tanks that are empty and aired out can
explode! Sparks and open flames near gas tanks are a no-no. The only way to do
this safely is to use car exhaust gases pumped into the tank and venting out
the sender hole. Exhaust gas is quite inert coming from a warmed up car. Be
sure if you do the exhaust gas trick to have fresh air for yourself. I want to
