I dont buy it.
I would use coolant to prevent corrosion, if you have a leak you want to
know about it early.

Yes, setting the timing to -15 at 2000-2500 is about correct and will give
you about -8 at 800 RPM.

Cam break in is very important, even moreso then the
cycle driving on the freeway, which breaks in the rings.

The cam will go flat if run too hard before its breakin.
