                      RE>Servo Installation 4/8/99

I believe that Harrington Alpines came with a power brake set-up which must have been added during the conversion of the stock Alpine. Maybe a Harrington owner could help.

I am preparing to fit a remote Lockheed servo to my series II Alpine ( all
purists scream at this point ) as I am fed up of putting my foot on the brakes
and then willing the car to stop.

Has anybody out there done this before?

I particularly want to know where to tap into the inlet manifold to provide the
vacuum assistance. I understand that a series III, which is similar under the
bonnet, had a servo fitted. So if anybody has time to look under their bonnet
or any advice I will be most greatful.
