Bill:
The Series I that I own has the serial and body no. stamped into the
aluminum plate and another plate riveted to the top scuttle on the passenger
side carries the body # again. (Same location as I have seen serial #'s on
Series V's) There is also another plate and no. beginning with a factory
prefix (eg: SAL_______) in the location above which I mentioned previously
to Espen.
I'm not sure if this holds true for later series.
