There is an article on the Vintage Triumph Registry Web site
(http://www.vtr.org/maintain/ballast.html) discussing the resistor subject.
According to this article, you would not use a ballast resistor with the
Lucas Sport Coil. You would actually negate the point of the using the
hotter coil by introducing the resistor.
So does that mean I run one wire from the Pertronix to the + side of the
coil and one wire to the - side of the coil? Or do I run one to the ignition
switch?
