I couldn't agree more with Chris. It seems that the bulk of us s*bscribe
to most of the list and or publications anyway. I like the idea of
combining and forming a unified national club. The internet and email are
the least expensive form of publication and those who don't use it are
really missing out.
I have made more progress in the last year on my Series V due to the
list. I have met good people with great ideas.
I would like to see a database driven website that everyone can submit
articles, parts for sale, tech tips and parts interchange. The system
would post articles that had been submitted within the last 7 days by
default however the database would be searchable for specific topic
information. Users could put links to their images as to not load up a
server.
I have also mentioned before having a live database registry. This could
be done in a way that it does not cause security issues. It would
populate a map with # of Tigers and Alpines per state. You could click on
a state and get a list of email. You could also enter information about
your car and photos. This could be searchable. Vin numbers could be
suppressed and limited contact information given as to not expose exact
location (for criminals to come steal your car).
I lastly think that everyone's opinion counts and should be considered.
My 2 cents worth.
Chris thanks for lunch and cleaning out the bed of my truck!
