Give us some numbers to digest (hot and cold).
Oil pressure gauges seldom fail, so the problem is probably real.
A clogged pump filter will starve when cold, not hot, so clogging is not
likely.
Sticking relief valves can do this, but usually dont reverse themselves
later.
Loose internal clearances are possible, as the oils ability to exit the
looser clearances increases with temperature due to oil viscosity change.
