WOW!...I just got finished taking the 4.22 : 1 OD rear end out of my Harrington
Le Mans. In its place I added a 3.70 : 1 out of a '69 Alpine automatic coupe.
This was quite a job, but well worth it. While I was in there I replaced the rear
end seals and gaskets to stop some leaks I was getting. The test drive proved to
be quite enjoyable. I noticed a drastic drop in revs with out losing too much off
the line performance. This should make this car much more enjoyable for driving
to shows this summer. I really noticed a big difference at speed. It just wanted
to keep climbing before I decided to back it off. I'm sure this has changed my
speedo readings, but that's the price I'll have to pay. - Ian
