Well, thanks for the rundown Chuck.
I spent two days in Qualicum at the AGM of the Old English Car Club of B.C.
Car ran fine until a slow grind at two mile an hour uphill in a parade
downtown.
I lost the clutch (again Chuck) This time no loss of fluid but really hard
to shift. It got better after I parked it for ten minutes and I was able to
drive home. Nevertheless, it looks like I have a job on my hands this week
and Ron Tebo is coming to visit!!
As I recall when I installed the Series V overdrive I also used the 71/2
clutch from a 1725 and switched flywheels as well. I do have a larger new
clutch plate but would have to switch back to the heavy flywheel which will
need a resurface. Any suggestions/comments.
