I may be way off base here, but...
It seems that in my readings of things that affect our LBCs, there was talk
that the use of siliconebrake fluid will cause a swelling of the natural
rubber inner lining of the brake lines. This results in a situation similar
to what you describe. when you apply preassure via the brake pedal, the
fluid goes into the calipers; however, all of it can't return through the
constricted lines. This leaves a slight amount of preassure within the
caliper. The more you apply the bakes, the higher the pressure gets.
Conversely, if this situation exists, the pressure within the caliper could
cause the fluid to heat up and increase the brake pressure, even without
subsequent applications of the brakes. The solution was the use of regular
brake fluid or replacement of all brake lines since most recently
manufactured componenets are made of synthetic rubber which are not
affected by the silicone.
