Buy a new one from Sunbeam Specialties. If your old one us uncracked
(I found a good one off a parts car) it can still be used. The foam
underneath can be replaced. I simply used aerosol foam insulation.
Works great.

I'm not certain of this, but I believe pinpoint is correct. I have a
Robbins top and am satisfied with it. Installed it myself (never done
it before) without a hitch. There is a supplier which makes canvas
tops for Alpines/Tigers. Not original, but quite nice. they advertise
in British Car Magazine.

You should purchase a Parts Manual from Classic Sunbeam. This has
detailed diagrams of nearly every part of your car. Sorry, I don't
know much about early Series Alpines.

Good luck with the wife, you're starting out on the wrong foot.
Hopefully you won't have too much trouble.
