I dont know why but 1725 engines really cook the oil.
I ran my SII (with 1725) without a cooler for the first
few hours of its life.
The oil pressure suffered terribly.
Adding a cooler helped a lot.
If you dont own a SV cooler, dont use one.
Buy a legitimate add on cooler, it will work much
better than the SV cooler.
