Its easiest to pull the axles out of the one in your car, pull your
third member, and install the new third member in the old ones place.

Third members are totally interchanchable between series, but be
mindfull of the following.

1) Earlier alpines have 17 spline axles, and you must be certain that you
have the correct splines in the spider gears for the axles that you will
use.

2) Series V axle cases are incompatible with all earlier cases, bearings,
seals
and axles. You may use the thrird member from an earlier car on a SV,
but only if you use ALL other SV components (axles ECT).
