Light bulbs

I have a question about the right light bulbs and turn signal flasher. I
now have the earlier style bullet turn signals, which come with a dual
fillament bulb. I bought brand new units from SS, which came with clear
bulbs 1077. I went to my local Pep Boys to get amber ones (which are
called "NA" - I haven't figured out how that relates to amber or orange
bulbs, but it does). They had 1057 and 2057 bulbs that are the same
configuration, but no 1077. I looked at the Sylvania catelog there and it
did not explain the differences. They are all 12V. My guess is that they
are different wattages. As I understand it, for turnsignals, you need the
same wattages for front and back bulbs and a matching flasher unit.

I am going to try to find Sylvania and ask them. But, if anyone has
already gone down this path, I'd like to hear what I need.

The store had 2057 in amber and clear (ie 2057NA and 2057). They had 1057
in clear, and in amber in a "kit" of bulbs that I didn't need.
