Hi,
I recently purchased an alpine with a non-working overdrive. I traced
the error back to
the pump/ check valve unit and I suspect a broken pump spring or simply
dirt in the
valve.
Unfortunately, I do not see any possibilty to remove the valve without
removing the OD
from the transmission.
Having followed the discussion about gearbox removal, I wonder if it is
easier to remove the OD only oor if this is as horrible as removing the
gearbox. I dislike the thought of removin engine+gearbox+OD only for
some dirt in the OD-pump.
