I had the same problem a few months ago. I thought that perhaps the oil pump had
been installed 180 degrees out (it wasn't) or that I had the wrong unit (I
didn't according to Curt) There is also only one way to mount the unit. In the
end I just gave up and installed a Luminition unit which works fine. Curt said I
should return the unit and he will get Pertronix to look at it. Makes me wonder
how many others out there with the unit are running weak sparks and don't even
know it.
