OK, now I'm confused. My vacuum unit faces the front of the engine but
at SUNI someone pointed out to me that it was 180 degrees off. I took
their word for it because their S5 was completely restored and a show
winner so I figured their's must be correct. Now after this discussion I
looked in the shop manual and SS catalogue and see the vacuum unit set
up like mine facing the front of the engine. I thought mine had been
flip flopped 180 to accomodate the vacuum line connection on the Weber
carb but now after seeing these drawings I wonder which orientation is
original. Anyone?
