Hello all,
I've driven my Series V long enough this Spring with a leaky thermostat
housing, and it's time to fix it. It's not bad, but leaks just enough to
smell antifreeze when stopped at a light. Excluding the prospects of a
warped housing, should I just use RTV, or should I also use a gasket? I
checked my box of spare parts and found the square gasket that fits to the
block, but of course it is NOT the one I need! The leaking gasket is the
one behind the hose fitting. Thanks!
Tom
