I've used a slide hammer with the correct sized bolt in the main cap and
wailed away. The rear cap is by far the hardest to remove and I usually am
tired after getting it out.

I've also used Gary's method and used a long bolt with a nut on it so I
don't have to constantly move the angle iron.
