The BIN is a sealer that is sandable - home depot, lowes, etc. - used for
hiding water stains or lipstick on drywall. Spray or brush a coat to seal
the foam, sand, spackle if needed, then finish with a coat of BIN. The PVA
acts as the parting agent - its a liquid when applied, drying to a plastic
wrap like film, so nothing sticks to the resin.. After you solvent out the
foam, you can peel and/or wash (water) the film off the cured resin.
After sending my reply, I did some research out n the web, and there are
folks using parrafin for mold plugs, so maybe the heat is not an issue.
I haven't done a lot of CF work - the protypes and models I've made wouldn't
bear the cost - but working on the couple of CF parts I made for a buddies
bike made me want to avoid it.....
