You can have the radiator recored to a three-row from the current two-row
(recommended).
The shroud helps form a venturi around the fan and should NOT be removed.
You can switch to the seven-bladed (later-style) fan if you like to hear a
lot of whirring and not move any more air, but why would you want to?
