VTR Convention

Here's a dumb question--when and where is the VTR convention, and what
goes on at it? Sounds like it might be a lot of fun. 

Also, what the status of the hub and axle project? I'm very
interested--I don't trust my present hubs, I had to weld the studs in,
and who knows what stresses that created. I did let them cool very
slowly, but there's no science in that.
