Jack...My vote would be for Strombergs too....IF the needle technology was as
well researched and publicized as for SU's. I do the Stromberg rebuilds for
club members and they don't get any simpler!!. Amazing how many ignition,
timing and engine ills always get blamed on those #$@^%##$ Strombergs. Usually
espoused by the VW mechanic (European Repair Garage) who hasn't a clue to
begin with and would rather not learn.
How's that for inflamatory? Start a thread did we??...smile
