Bob, Andy and the lists,

The routes given will get the job done. The only problem with the scenic 2
lanes is
being 8th in line behind Mr & Mrs Whitehead in the motorhome.

As for the interstates, note that I-90 is 6 lanes east of Sturbridge, MA. Trucks
are not allowed in the inner lane. It is not unusual for traffic in the fast
lane
to run bumper to bumper at 90mph in that stretch. BTDT. Take I-290 at Worcester
(Woostah) to I-495. 290 ends at 495 and the northbound exit ramp goes off to the
left. The name of the game is to get off of I-90 before you get anywhere near
Boston. East of 495, it's rush hour all the time. During rush hour 495 gets
pretty
crowded between the I-93 interchange and Haverhill (Haverll). East of there it's
usually a piece of cake.

Having said all that, Dianne and I won't be there. We have a
business/professional
meeting conflict. In Portland. Oregon. :<( And no, we can't hang around out
there
until VTR '00.

Best of luck and a safe trip to everyone.
