>From talking to a Sheriff deputy and one of the victims (a very pleasant
Porsche driver), there were a number of thefts in the paddock. We met the
Porsche driver at the gas pumps and he'd been relieved of his money and
credit cards while out on track. And no, I didn't ask him if he'd pawned
his gold chains to buy the gas. Apparently this has been going on for
several events and they brought in both uniformed and plain clothes cops to
try to catch them. Actually, we used the Deputy to call a locksmith to
"break" into Bob's truck after he locked the keys in it. Very helpful, I
thought. Cheers, Don
