Amici, I'd like to nominate Christian Jensen of Denmark to
our ranks. Christian is building a spitfire vintage race car for
road racing and hill climbs. His story is below. He seems to
have the right attitude for membership.
He hasn't found a lot of help in the performance department
and is hoping this list can help him out.

Hi Brad, here4s the short version
I4m a dane ( 31 year4s), i have 2, mk3 684 spitfires 1
mayflower 534, and
i have been making a spitfire for "some classic race" this
winter. it has
around 100-110 HP (i hope)in the FD engine and it has AVO
adj dampers,
electric- water pump, fan, fuel pump. mk4 swing spring,
otherwise it is
pretty original, i will race in the Danish 1965-71 championship
and also
in a couple of hillclimb.
