My most serious accidents have happened on the street. I so far have =
been lucky, really lucky, and am still around. I know people who =
bought the farm on the way to vintage races. Last week I went to a =
restaurant in Juarez, Mexico the site of 800 plus murders so far this =
year, not the restaurant, but the city. I ate the Tripitas and Sirloin =
Tacos, and likewise am still kicking. Not the point. The owner of the =
restaurant was a racer and member of the Juarez sports hall of fame. =
The restaurant was plastered with photos of his circle track career and =
one photo that struck me was of him and his buddies standing around =
after a race in 1954 and their safety equipment were leather football =
helmets. He was in the restaurant and still had his dashing moustache =
he had from '54 and a twinkle in his eye at 81 years old. I did my best =
to converse with him in my broken spanish and I could only imagine the =
racing adventures he had survived. I don't wanna die in bed, in a =
crash, or eating Tripitas. But if I do, I'd rather go out gritting my =
teeth, foot to the floor, and relishing every =
bite...................................Henry Morrison, One medium large =
glass of rather cheap Chilean Cab/Merlot mix=20
