In combination with the rear brakes this restrictor valve takes car that the
linings of the front brake don't move away from the rotors. You get less
pedal travel with that valve installed.

Friends

Most of our TR3's and TR4's came equipped from the factory with what
Moss calls a restrictor valve - installed in the brake hydraulic line
system.
This valve sits atop the 5way connection that distributes brake fluid to the
front and rear brakes.  Some where in the TR4A run this valve was
eliminated.
Does anyone know the purpose, function, or reason for this valve.
