List,
The problems racers have had with front and rear brakes has often been what
they choose to use. I have spent some time listening to five or six racers
who mounted brakes that later proved difficult to find parts and/or pads or
linings to fit. Keith, you know what it is like to get pads for an
Austin-Healey. Not too hard but not in every NAPA store. With the problems
of corrosion from the salt or dust from the lakes it makes sense to use
something simple, readily available and easy to maintain at top efficiency.
