Richard,

Ardundoug is correct about Bill Ward's Opel, BTW Bill has recently relocated
to the Lancaster in the So Cal high desert. Bill's Opel runs stock wheel
base as the car is unit body and the fenders do not unbolt. The car is very
sophisticated aero wise as Bill and good friend Mark Lingua are very sharp
in this area. The car holds records in B/BMS - 241 MPH & D/MS - 222 MPH at
Bonneville. I was honored to drive the car at both El Mirage and Bonneville,
I found the short wheelbase manageable at speed which probably is a result
of carefully thought out aero. Jim Thompson runs an Opel for his wife in GT
body class with a G class turbo motor, turns speeds of around 110 MPH.
