I need to have a 10 lb Firebottle re-filled. Yesterday I was quoted $22
a lb for Halon, but after looking at the bottle, they couldn't re-fill
it. I called another vendor; they wanted $60 a lb for halon & COULD
re-fill the bottle.However, the bottle & installation kit can be had NEW
for $450. I have been calling the phone # of Safety Systems, as printed
on the bottle, for 2 days & all I get is a fast busy signal. They aint
that busy......... Question 1; does anybody know if Safety Systems
(maker of Firebottle) is still in business? 2; Do you have their phone
#? 3; any other vendors out there that are reasonable? ( I had a bottle
filled last year by a very well known CA vendor, and it would have been
cheaper to buy a new one) And finally, (are you listening Dan?) Can I
present a reciept to tech at Muroc for the new bottle or do I still need
a fire inspection tag- I know, petty, but it saves 25 bux) Any comments
here are welcome.
