Hi;
You can run any internal combustion engine in all classes except
Production, Grand touring and Vintage Engines. In those classes you must run
a production block (no aftermarket at all). I think what you are referring
to is the rule that boots you out of production into gas coupe and sedan
I.E. an "engine swap".
